Created for WonderWork, a charitable organisation that provides free surgical interventions for children in the world's poorest countries. "First Sight: Sonia & Anita" tells the story of two blind sisters and their emotional path to surgery to restore the view.
Sonia and Anita, are among the 20 million children and adults who could regain their sight through a 15-minute operation that costs just $300, according to WonderWork.
Shot on location in India, Blue Chalk Media produced this film with a top class creative team including photographer Brent Stirton, director of photography Robert Wilson, editor Greg Snider, original music by Tyler Strickland and executive producer Rob Finch.
Since it was filmed, the film has helped raise hundreds of thousands of dollars for WonderWork and has been seen by millions of people around the world.
